A trek to Gokyo Cho La Pass and Everest Base Camp is an experience like no other and is often touted as one of the best mountain panoramas on earth. Also known as the Everest Circuit trekking route, the Gokyo Cho La pass trek followed by a trip to the Everest Base Camp is an alternate for the regular EBC. The Trek begins after a short flight to Lukla, trekking uphill through blossoming rhododendron flowers, Yaks, mystic Monasteries and friendly Sherpa faces to ultimately view Everest and several other Himalayan peaks from Kala Patthar before heading back down to complete the circuit at Namche Bazar. This route takes us through the heart of the Himalayas – we will be surrounded by monumental peaks – Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu, AmaDablam to name a few.
