Glimpse of Nepal takes you to some of the best sites in Nepal, whether you’re exploring the exotic capital of Kathmandu, discovering Pokhara beneath awe-inspiring snow-capped peaks or escaping into a short adventure hike/trek in the Himalayas, riding elephants through Chitwan National Park in search of big game or wandering around the ancient Newari capital Bhaktapur, this journey has something for everyone.
Nestled across the backdrop of the Himalayas, Nepal is a diverse country hosting the elusive Royal Bengal Tiger; picture-perfect Pokhara to a few of the world’s highest peaks. At the heart of Nepal is enchanting the Kathmandu valley, almost a portal into medieval Nepal with its own cultural identity.DAY 01: Arrival: Kathmandu
Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport; met by our representatives and transferred to the hotel.
Free for the rest of the day with a small brief in the evening about the trek.

DAY 02: A.M. Sightseeing; P.M. Trek Preparation
Located about 20 km east of Kathmandu in the Kathmandu Valley, Bhaktapur is known as the ‘City of Devotees’, the ‘City of Culture’, the ‘Living Heritage’, and ‘Nepal’s Cultural Gem’. It is one of the 3 royal cities in the Kathmandu Valley. It also falls within UNESCO World Heritage sites.
Bhaktapur is filled with monuments, most terra-cotta with carved wood columns, palaces, and temples with elaborate carvings, gilded roofs, and open courtyards. The city is dotted with pagodas and religious shrines.
Boudhanath Stupa is the largest stupa in Nepal and the holiest Tibetan Buddhist temple outside Tibet. It is the center of Tibetan culture in Kathmandu and rich in Buddhist symbolism. The stupa is located on the eastern outskirts of Kathmandu.
After the tour, a short briefing will be done in the evening to know all the essential factors and places before embarking on this short trek.

DAY 03: Fly to Pokhara, Half Day Tour
After breakfast transfer to the domestic airport and catch the short flight to Pokhara Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel.
The Peace Pagoda is a popular destination southwest of Pokhara, situated at an altitude of almost 1000 meters. Visitors can enjoy views of the Himalayan peaks, as well as Phewa Lake and Sarangkot Mountain.
Phewa Lake is the second largest lake of Nepal and the largest lake of Pokhara valley. The lake is surrounded by Sarangkot and Kaskikot hills on the northern side. In the middle of the lake on a small island, there is a temple of Barahi. One can also get a great view of Mt. Macchapucchre from Phewa Lake.

DAY 04: Drive to Phedi and hike to Dhampus (1750 m)
After breakfast board the waiting vehicle and drive to Phedi. Here meet the rest of the team here we do the final rearrangements of the luggage’s before we start to trek.
Commence trek to Dhampus (1750 m). The trek starts immediately with a steep climb on cobbled stone steps and through mixed forests and scattered settlement. As we gain the elevation the trail becomes gradual passing through the villages and terraced rice and paddy fields and takes an hour to arrive at the Top View Lodge which marks the end of the steep path and arrival at Dhampus Plateau. From here the incline is much easier as the trail continues to climb steadily in a more forested area and after about an hour we arrive at the entrance to Dhampus Village with a maze of houses and alleyways of stone walls. There are magnificent views of the mountains from west to east of the Annapurna South (7219m), HiunChuli (6441m), Mardi Himal (5587 m) and Machhapucchhare (6993m) to the north.
We stop at Dhampus for Lunch and spend the night here

DAY 05: Hike Dhampus to Australian Camp (1265 m)
After breakfast, the trek begins with a pleasant walk through the village and continues on the trail for about forty minutes to arrive at the first ACAP check post, where we do the usual formalities to check in to the Annapurna National Park. After the formalities we continue our trek, leaving the village behind, we continue on the trail going down a fairly gentle slope cut into steps in the middle of the forest and then a short climb brings us to the settlement of Pothana (1990 m) with magnificent views of the Western Himalayas.
After some rest, the trail from Pothana turns southwest to Khare (1524m) and NaunDanda (1457m). In the beginning, you make a gradual uphill ascend for about 45 minutes on stone stairs. After spending some time at the vantage point you continue to descend the trail to Khara (1457m); it should take about one hour easy downhill walk.
Trek duration: 2 ½ – 3 hours.

DAY 06: Hike to Phedi and Drive to Pokhara
After leisurely breakfast Hike down along the rocky trail for about an hour to reach Kande village. We board the vehicle and drive to Pokhara.
Upon arrival check into the hotel.
Rest of the day is free to rest and relax.
Trek duration: 1- 1 ½ hour
Drive duration: 1 hour
O/N at Hotel.
DAY 07: Drive: Pokhara to Chitwan
After breakfast, board the vehicle and drive to Chitwan National Park.
Upon arrival check into the hotel.
Jeep Safari, Bird watching, nature walk, Elephant Safari, and Crocodile Breeding center are the activities one will be doing in Chitwan.
Drive duration: 4 ½ – 5 hours
O/N at Hotel / Lodge / Resort.
DAY 08: Jungle Activities in Chitwan
A full day activity of Jeep Safari, Bird watching, nature walk, Elephant Safari, and Crocodile Breeding center are the activities one will be doing in Chitwan.
* The above activity will be paced out in two days stay.

DAY 09: Fly back to Kathmandu
After breakfast transfer to Bharatpur Airport and catch the flight back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival met, assisted and transferred to the hotel. Rest of the day is free to rest and relax.
Drive duration: 40 Min (to the airport). Flight duration: 20 min

DAY 10: Sightseeing in Kathmandu
After breakfast Patan Durbar Square, and Swayambunath Stupa
Patan Durbar Square is one of the major seats of historic Malla Kings. The Square and its periphery is adorned with intricate artwork which is an amalgamation of Buddhist and Hindu traditions and is a marvel of Newar architecture.
Swayambunath Stupa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of the oldest Buddhist monuments of the valley. The gleaming white dome soaring atop a hill is capped by a gilded spire painted with the eyes of Lord Buddha overlooking the Kathmandu valley in all the directions. Devotees are seen making a ritual circumnavigating of the base of the hill, spinning the prayer wheels.

DAY 11: Final Departure
Free for final minute packing and shopping until transfer to the airport for final departure.
